DAY 1:
Departing Marrakech, we will travel over the Tizi n’ Tichka Pass, enjoying superb views of the High Atlas Mountains and of the Berber villages along the route. Our trip begins with a stop for lunch and a tour of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Aït Benhaddou. This attraction is situated along the Ouarzazate River. This beautiful example of southern Moroccan architecture has been used as a backdrop for over 20 films including Lawrence of Arabia, Jewel of the Nile, The Mummy, and Gladiator.
Continuing our trip toward Zagora via the anti-Atlas mountains (a mountain range part of the Atlas mountains) and Draa Valley, we will then arrive at the Tinfou Desert. Here we will take a camel trek into the desert and stay overnight in a bivouac.

Staying overnight in the desert of Morocco will be a majestic experience for your your trip.
DAY 2:
Waking up to a spectacular sunrise in the desert and enjoying an authentic Moroccan breakfast will be a memory that will last a lifetime. When we leave the camp site, bivouac (tent) trekkers will return by camel and return to Ouarzazate and back over the high Atlas Mountains. If there is anything you'd like to stop and see on the excursion back, please just let us know! We will arrive back in Marrakech in the early evening.
